What is the most beautiful thing in the world?

Last month, I got the golden opportunity to go on a 4-dhaam yatra (4-temple pilgrimage) to Uttarakhand with my father and grandfather. The thought of three generations of the family going on a holy trip itelf made me so much proud and excited before the commencement of the journey.

This will be one of my favorite pictures for lifetime:

We reached kedarnath first. We reached the temple area in the evening at around 4pm. It was cloudy in the beginning and then it started raining lightly as we proceeded.

When we finally reached the temple, it was like this:

A well known structure looking exactly like what is being shown everywhere in the photographs.

About me, I'm not a religious person. I believe in spirituality and in the existence of more than just a mortal being but do not hold devotion to the human defined Gods. I went to the trip for capturing the natural beauty of the mountain areas (I love photography) and my father knew my purpose very well :p

As we reached the temple, I felt nice. The aura was good. There were positive vibes in the air. Everything was good. After that, we came back to our rooms (near the temple) to start our return journey the next morning.

I was told that the snowy mountains are not visible enough because of the clouds but in the early morning they'll be clear. So I can go and photograph them. What else I wanted! The very next morning, as I came out of the dorm, I saw huge white mountains standing in front of me with pride. I got happy and decided to go to the temple again to pick some better photographs than the last evening. And as I reached there, I saw this:

I was stunned to see this sight. It felt like everything before this moment was a waste of everything. I realized that the mountains and the snow were so necessary for the scene to get complete! I felt like crying. My soul was screaming out of bliss. I realized that now the journey to this place is successful and felt as if I have reached a milestone in my life and that a visit to this place was necessary and written! I had joined my hands in front of the idol in the temple only as a custom, but this time, I joined my hands and even bowed down and prayed - to the mountains - the mighty creatures that had the power to shake me from within and give my soul a very different kind of peace that it didn't feel before.

What is the most beautiful thing in the world? The feeling of crying in happiness. The intense silent screaming of your heart out of content and the peace your soul gets after it. Not everyone is fortunate enough to feel this. Many people don't get to experience this in their entire lifetime!

In my case, mother nature was behind it. I realised that we're all her children playing in her beautiful arms, so little in front of her might and beauty and so oblivious to the bliss she wears and the miracles she can do.
